WHAT IS A
BRAIN BREAK?
A Brain Break is a short mental break (usually limited up to 5 minutes) intended to help students remain focused and pay attention during the lesson. They either energize or relax the students. Brain Breaks work best when they incorporate physical activities, since they get students moving to carry blood and oxygen to the brain. (Jensen)
